Job Title: HRIS Analyst III - Workforce Management (WFM)
Overview:
The HRIS Analyst III - WFM serves as a senior technical and functional expert for UKG Pro Workforce Management systems, with emphasis on strategic configuration, optimization, and cross-functional integration of key modules including Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, Leave Management, and Analytics. This role is instrumental in enhancing system functionality, driving continuous improvement, and supporting large-scale HR technology initiatives across the enterprise.
This individual will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of WFM initiatives, from requirement gathering and configuration through testing, implementation, and production support. This includes supporting mergers/acquisitions, process automation, and analytics transformation efforts. As a senior-level resource, the HRIS Analyst III also mentors junior analysts and partners closely with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, and Compliance to ensure alignment of system capabilities with organizational strategy.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
System Administration & Optimization
- Act as SME for UKG Pro WFM modules (Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, Leave, Accruals, Analytics).
- Lead system configuration, implementation of new functionality, and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Oversee data integrity, security roles, audit compliance, and regular maintenance cycles.
- Partner with vendors on troubleshooting, system updates, and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of configurations, workflows, and end-user processes.
- Manage escalated support tickets and serve as tier-3 support for WFM-related inquiries.
Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead cross-functional projects involving WFM system updates, integrations, and enhancements.
- Conduct needs assessments, gap analyses, and feasibility studies for new WFM functionality.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align technology solutions with operational goals.
- Provide subject matter expertise during acquisitions and new site implementations.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and Compliance to streamline processes and improve user experience.
Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Design and deliver complex reports, dashboards, and analytics using WFM tools and data exports.
- Collaborate with HR Analytics and business leaders to drive actionable insights from system data.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting, including SOX, HIPAA, and other audit standards.
Education & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years' hands-on experience in UKG Pro WFM configuration and system administration.
- Required expertise in UKG Workforce Management (formerly Dimensions) Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, and Analytics modules.
- Strong understanding of HRIS, Payroll, and related cross-functional business processes.
- Experience in healthcare or multi-site/matrixed environments highly preferred.
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, and acquisitions.
Skills & Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of UKG Pro WFM and related reporting tools.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization/reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong planning and documentation skills.
