Are you a highly motivated and results-oriented Estimator with a passion for the power generation industry?
We are seeking a talented and experienced Estimator to join our team in the Atlanta, GA metro area. In this critical role, you will play a key part in the success of our projects by accurately estimating project costs for complex steam and power generation projects.
About the Role:
- Cost Estimation: You will accurately estimate all project costs, including construction costs, for a wide range of projects, including combined cycle, Rankine cycle cogeneration, and other power generation technologies utilizing fossil fuels, biomass, RNG, hydrogen, and plant waste.
- Project Scope: You will develop detailed cost estimates for various project components, including pumps, fans, material handling systems, boilers, pressure parts, heat exchangers, steam turbine generators, combustion turbines, and reciprocating engines.
- Technical Expertise: You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of construction processes, estimating principles, and industry best practices to develop accurate and competitive project bids.
- Software Proficiency: You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and will learn to utilize InEight Construction Estimating Software.
- Experienced Professional: You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project estimating for steam and power generation projects, with a focus on EPC projects in the $50+ million range.
- Education: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- A Strong Communicator: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with estimating projects involving combined cycle and Rankine cycle cogeneration systems.
- Knowledge of construction estimating software.
- Relocation offered to the right candidate
- Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 Depending on prior experience
