The Opportunity
Digital Clinical Systems Training & Communications Team
The Digital Clinical Systems Training & Communication team is a team composed of highly skilled training professionals who are dedicated to ensuring the success of Epic training across all MGB hospitals and sites.
We are currently experiencing a peak period of transformation and collaboration, making it an incredibly dynamic and rewarding time to be part of our team. We are seeking a Project Specialist to join our ranks and contribute to our ongoing efforts. This role is integral to our mission, as it involves leading projects that include integrating training teams from remaining non-centralized community and specialty sites, developing an enterprise-wide optimization project, and conducting data analysis to determine needs and evaluate the effectiveness of our training programs.

Essential Functions
-Responsible for managing Digital/IT projects.
-Develop project goals, objectives, approach, and scope through negotiation and diplomacy that result in a well-defined, well-sponsored project.
-Develop workplans and timelines to meet project goals.
-Contribute to the development of capital and operating funding requirements associated with a project.
-Manage a project within its budget.
-Plan, manage and oversee projects, using recognized project management methods.
-Provide on-going project status reports to Digital leadership, user groups, project steering committee and executive hospital management.

- Knowledge of the principles, procedures and methods used in systems analysis and design, including those having computer-based applications.
- Understanding of principles and practices of data architecture and data management.
- Experience with modern administrative practices and techniques with particular emphasis on the use of electronic data processing systems in a large-scale enterprise.
- Skilled in managing enterprise information management functions.

- Bachelor's Degree Information Technology required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
- This role can consider and review experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience in information technology positions 3-5 years required
