Job Summary
The Research Information Systems & Computing (RISC) Department at Mass General Brigham seeks a talented and motivated junior level AI Developer to join our innovative research team. This role is focused on research initiatives and is centered on developing cutting-edge AI technologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) solution, to drive impactful healthcare research. As part of our mission to bridge technology and healthcare, this individual will contribute to developing and exploring LLM-driven solutions, collaborating with experts to stay at the forefront of technological advancements.

Qualifications
- LLM Research and Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain AI Agents and agentic workflow to clinical research using clinical datasets.
- Conduct research to identify and implement cutting-edge AI solutions that address critical challenges in clinical research.
- Collaborate on research publications to disseminate findings to the broader scientific and tech communities.
- Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in AI and the broader tech industry, incorporating new methodologies into research projects.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance research processes and outcomes using state-of-the-art tools and techniques.
- Problem Solving and Implementation:
- Use analytical and problem-solving skills to create and deploy robust solutions to challenges encountered during development.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues with Python code to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Work with API calls and HTTP requests using locally run Flask servers to integrate and streamline applications.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with a team of researchers, engineers, and healthcare professionals who share a passion for advancing healthcare through innovative solutions.
- Contribute to team brainstorming, design reviews, and project updates to ensure alignment with research goals and grant objectives.
Additional Job Details (if applicable)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.
- Experience with Flask, APIs, and HTTP requests is a plus.
- A passion for research and an ability to adapt to the dynamic landscape of AI technology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
