Finance Director: Group FP&A, Project Management and Finance System Support, Chicago, Illinois

Position Summary:
The Finance Director will lead and manage the ADMIS Group Financial Planning & Analysis function, North America Project Management, and Finance Systems Support functions and processes. This includes annual and monthly cycles and for new initiatives and projects, developing plans and forecasts, analysis of actual results vs plans and formulating recommendations for remedial actions. This role supports the management team for strategy development, intra-period commercial business updates. This position has frequent interaction with global commercial and functional leaders, reports to the Group CFO.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Direct management Chicago based FP&A Team, Project Managers and financial system support
  • Develop annual and going strategic and financial plans including models , business-related analyses, including variance analysis and multi-month and year trend analysis for business units and profit and cost centers / departments
  • Understand financial forecast drivers including volume and product profiles, EBITDA, ROIC and other metrics
  • Oversight of project management including plans, ad-hoc analyses, timeline tracking and presentations
  • Prepares presentation materials for senior leadership, timely and accurately
  • Support financial systems development and functioning enabling efficient business intelligence
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Experience as a finance director in a muti-national company with revenues >$500M
  • Experience managing teams of 2 or more analysts and or project managers
  • High proficiency in MS Office, experience in using queries, advanced Excel skills and reporting tools
  • Previous experience collaborating with leaders and other colleagues in a Finance role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical abilities, initiative and problem solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and or Finance
  • 5 + years finance experience and 10 or more years professional experience including direct management of a team
  • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
Preferred Qualifications (optional):
  • Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 or similar GL systems, experience in using queries, Power BI, Essbase, Hyperion, Oracle, GMI or similar systems.
  • Experience in the futures or equities brokerage or other segment of the financial services industry
  • Experience in a collaborative culturally diverse and inclusive environment

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
