Advisor Annuity Planning Consultant

The Expertise We're Looking For
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 required prior to hire
  • Series 66 (63/65) and Insurance Licenses highly preferred
  • Five years financial services experience, with 3-5 years of sales experience
  • A CFP is preferred; if you don't already have your CFP, our Tuition Reimbursement program can help you with classes to obtain it!


The Purpose of Your Role
  • Build & cultivate relationships with Fidelity internal RM's to educate them on Fidelity variable annuity offering "FPRA".
  • Works with RIA's to help identify clients, provide analysis, and cost comparison to help see how our solution fits in their plan.
  • Prospecting plan to identify new RIA firms and RIA's. Continual messaging & connection on a regular cadence.
  • Growth the business through prospecting plan and execution.
  • Facilitate 1035 process from end to end providing exceptional white glove service.
  • Partner with FCCS (Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions) on process and client experience improvements.
  • Collaborate with multiple business partners to address and resolve NIGOs while looking for trends.
  • Take ownership of and resolve complex situations as well as service issues.
  • Runs the business through practice management and process improvement.
  • Subject matter expert on Fidelity's variable annuity offering as well as competitors.

  • Strong EQ skills and ability to build and cultivate relationships with internal Fidelity RM's.
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational abilities allowing effective prioritization of decisions.
  • Proficient in creative problem-solving and skilled in cross-functional collaboration within the organization.
  • Experience in a team-oriented environment to promote awareness of the role and opportunities to identify clients.
  • Has a good understanding and working knowledge of Fidelity's relationships and support of RIA model.
  • Confident communicator, internally motivated, highly organized
  • Ability to build and deliver presentations to groups as well as individuals.
