HR Business Partner - West Coast Tech Firm

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on HR matters, aligning people and business strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with employees to coach, resolve concerns, and support performance and engagement.
  • Act as a change agent and employee advocate, balancing business needs with a positive employee experience.
  • Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Guide managers through the hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Conduct interviews, support offers, lead exit interviews, and ensure policy compliance.
  • Help scale HR processes across multiple locations globally.
  • Audit and implement HR policies to ensure consistency and legal compliance.
  • Partner with business leaders on initiatives that improve morale, retention, and productivity.

Requirements

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, U.S. employment law, compensation, performance, and training.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong discretion and ability to manage confidential matters.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting international teams and scaling HR operations.
  • Familiarity with strategic HR initiatives and change management.
