Role Details:
We are looking for a skilled senior iOS software developer with a natural inclination to elegantly solve problems. You will get the chance to take on complex and interesting problems as part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. We are constantly evaluating and adapting the latest and greatest on the iOS/iPadOS platforms and there's always something new to learn.
Your Day-to-Day:
Technical development, debugging, and delivery of best-in-class iOS native application
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Continuously improve the application - find and fix bugs while improving application performance
Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Evaluate opportunities to bring new features to mobile users from a technical perspective
Build strong working relationships with coworkers and company management
Contribute to the growth and knowledge of the development team through code reviews and team discussions
Key Projects:
Modernization of existing features in the CBS Sports app
Revamped soccer user experience
Implementation of new iOS features such as Widgets
Qualifications:
What you bring to the team:
You have -
Minimum 4 years mobile software development
Acted as key contributor to at least one publicly released native iOS application
Thorough knowledge of Swift and Objective-C programming languages, the iOS platform and Xcode
Strong knowledge of UIKit and SwiftUI
Experience in consuming RESTful APIs to connect with back-end services
You might also have -
BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Experience integrating ad serving products and analytics/reporting tools in building iOS apps
Experience working with Agile development processes
Experience working with GraphQL and Apollo framework

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $124,000.00 - 155,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
