Job Description
The Department of Finance in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech invites applications for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Practice, dependent on qualifications and experience, to teach courses in Corporate Finance, Investments, Cyber Law and General Finance. The academic-year position is available beginning Fall 2025. Classes will be conducted in-person at the Blacksburg campus.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor's or master's degree or higher in finance, business, or related field is required. In addition, candidates must have significant professional or teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching upper division courses at a similar university. Candidates must have the expertise or experience to teach courses in the finance curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience interacting with a diverse student or client population.

Exempt: Not eligible for overtime
