Position Summary

As a Territory Sales Executive with our Specialty Pharmacy team, you are responsible for selling CVS/specialty pharmacy services to key targeted physicians, medical clinics, hospitals, and academic institutions for complex disease states including Oncology, Autoimmune Disorders, Immunodeficiency, Pulmonary Hypertension (PAH), Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AAT) and Hereditary Angioedema (HAE). Your ability to develop strong relationships with decisions makers at the referral sources is key to identifying their needs and positioning CVS Specialty Pharmacy differentiators to support the providers and the patients we serve. You will have a designated territory, where you are tasked with developing and executing a sales strategy to ensure open market growth. Your success is measured through percent to sales goal metrics, Internal KPIs, and internal and external client satisfaction.

To be a candidate for this role you will possess the following:
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmaceuticals or specialty pharmacy.
  • Ability to self-manage a territory, hitting targeting/frequency goals to grow revenue and Rx count.


Travel:
  • This role will cover the cities of Ft. Worth, Lubbock, & El Paso, and the surrounding areas in Western Texas. Territory also covers the entire state of New Mexico.
  • You should expect to travel around 50-75% of the time and this includes 6-8 overnights/month. When not traveling, you will drive within 1-2 hours of home and/or work from home via telephone calls and virtual meetings
  • Candidate must live within this defined territory


Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional sales experience is required of external candidates. We will consider internal candidates without professional sales experience if they have directly related experience working within the CVS specialty infusion space.
  • Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance
  • Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or specialty pharmacy sales is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of specialty pharmacy services and offerings and understanding of medical vs. pharmacy billing for home infused products.
  • Experience with Salesforce (CRM), Microsoft Suite
  • Experience coordinating various stakeholder interest to grow territory revenue and prescription referrals


Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$68,000.00 - $158,304.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
