Duties: Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks a Senior Analyst - Business Intelligence (Multiple Openings) to work on complex projects utilizing APIs and create interactive data visualizations. Model complex clinical data to discover clinical, health, scientific, and business insights and identify opportunities through statistical, algorithmic, mining, visualization, and machine learning techniques. Integrate and prepare large, varied datasets, architecting specialized databases and computing environments, and communicate results. Collaborate with colleagues from clinical, science, and business backgrounds. Develop a data pipeline to enable participating collaborators to be able to visualize and learn from collected data through research and quality improvement. Transfer data from clinical systems to a database, to Python or an equivalent environment for data quality control, cleaning, manipulation, and analysis; with de-identified data then being exported to a visualization tool (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) integrated into a web-based platform. Create and modify reports and interactive visualizations to fulfill requests using a variety of database and analytic technologies. Participate in iterative discussions with a diverse community of users including clinicians, clinical researchers, and administrators, to assist with identifying their reporting needs. Extract knowledge from the data gathered by various in-house digital health applications / databases and synthesize it to discover previously hidden insights. Lead an effort to establish a scalable and re-usable data science framework to handle diverse data sources and propose data analytical standards across projects. Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to gather information from a variety of databases and datasets, including both internal and external sources. Create and maintain content documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to enable and share best practices for data science.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, machine learning, business analytics, business intelligence, data science, health informatics, or a related quantitative field. 5 years of business intelligence and data analytics experience. 2 years of experience working on complex projects utilizing Application Programming Interfaces (API). 2 years of experience creating interactive data visualizations. 5 years of experience integrating and preparing large and varied datasets, architecting specialized databases and computing environments, and communicating results. 5 years of experience with advanced analytics using Python and/or R languages. 2 years of experience utilizing visualization tools to integrate data into a web-based platform. 5 years of experience in SQL and relational database models. 5 years of experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and developing arguments describing pros and cons of various options. 5 years of data project management experience involving gathering project requirements, preparing detailed use cases and activity diagrams to illustrate end-user needs, collaborating with end-users to understand project specifications, and proposing viable overall design. 5 years of experience providing end-user support, including monitoring of Service Level Agreements for incident management and collaborating with other areas to ensure customer-centered incident management and support. 3 years of experience working with an Electronic Health Record or other healthcare data, as evidenced by Epic certification, letters, or equivalent documentation. 3 years of experience with medical terminology standards and coding (i.e., ICD-9/10, CPT, LOINC, RxNORM, HL7). 2 years of experience working with clinical and medical workflow. 2 years of experience working with healthcare regulatory considerations, web security protocols, and compliant data management. Hybrid work schedule involving onsite work at our location in Cincinnati, OH and telecommuting may be permitted.

Salary: $89,024.00 - 113,235.20 (This is the salary range. Please disregard the expected starting salary range that may be listed elsewhere on this posting).
