Increasingly, Takeda is investing in data, digital, and technology to accelerate innovation and create value for the organization. US Medical has the opportunity to enhance scientific exchange for HCPs and increase effectiveness by leveraging technology to meet medical strategies and objectives.
Role Overview:
The Senior Manager, Data Analyst will manage and support various US Medical engagement data systems such as the data visualizations and processes to enable end-user reporting and decision support needs for associated stakeholders. The individual in this role will provide support to create and enhance data solutions, supporting seamless integration and flow of data across the US Medical data ecosystem, while enabling the Takeda team and customers to intelligently consume data, resulting in business value. The Senior Manager, Data Analyst will work alongside the Digital Capability Lead (Analytics & Insights) and technology platform owners (DD&T) to align stakeholder input and balance US Medical ecosystem priorities.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$150,500.00 - $236,500.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

Objective:
- The Senior Manager, Data Analyst is a critical role within the US Medical (USM) organization that reports to the Digital Capability Lead (Analytics & Insights).
- The objectives of this role are to develop cross-functional relationships across the business and work with stakeholders to assess business needs for data in support of analytics and reporting.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Manage and support digital analytics and insights projects, aligned to outlined business objectives, data availability and quality, and determined value through meaningful insight attribution.
- Lead the hands-on stewardship of US Medical engagement data and triage any issues with DD&T platform and other business systems owners.
- Delegate relevant items to appropriate stewards inside the organization or at vendors and track progress to ensure remediation.
- Support the development of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to generate meaningful insights to solve US Medical challenges.
- Leverage a deep understanding of pharmaceutical data and marketing tactics data to establish acceptable data standards.
- Oversee Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) projects from pivotal digital platforms such as Matomo, Veeva systems, and other related tools.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Implement AI and machine learning techniques to enhance data analysis and predictive capabilities.
- Ensure quality standards are established for each data source and applied as a part of the Data Quality Control process.
- Implement data quality processes to proactively detect issues with provided data.
- Stay current on trends and new developments in data analytics.

Education, Experience, and Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in data management and governance and/or Commercial Sales Operations/Analytics experience with demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and explain systems and approaches for customer data and product data to enable business decisions.
- Mastery in ETL processes and a deep understanding of digital platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Matomo, and Google Marketing Platform.
- Strong knowledge of relevant internal and external data sources within the pharmaceutical data ecosystem.
- Experience in setting up an ecosystem of partners bringing together various sources of data.
- Experience managing multiple, complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, and data quality business processes, solutions, and methodologies.
- Proficient in modern data analysis tools such as Tableau.
- Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through.
Preferred:
- Degree in any of the following fields: technical or analytical fields such as data science, statistics, operations research, industrial engineering, computer science, economics, math, etc.
- 2+ years' experience in pharmaceutical industry.
- Healthcare business acumen with a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience acting as a liaison with Data Digital & Technology (DD&T) on data projects.
- Experience in workflow/information processing.
- Experience working with Cloud Computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake etc.)
- Experience with data analytics, digital dashboards, statistics, CPV etc.
- Prior experience with AI and machine learning techniques (e.g., dynamic automation).
Licenses/Certifications:
Maintain minimum standards of education/certification in individual professional discipline.
