THE WORK:
    • You'll conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical installations in public works right-of-ways, buildings, tenant improvement renovations, and civil electrical work, ensuring compliance with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
    • You'll possess in-depth knowledge of electrical materials, components, and methods used in the installation of electrical systems. Ensure that all installations conform to established construction standards and local electrical code requirements.
    • You'll demonstrate a strong understanding of low voltage IT systems, including the interpretation and enforcement of relevant code requirements, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • You'll Inspect a variety of electrical installations, including but not limited to:Underground utilities and high voltage gear, Electrical panels, grounding systems, and breakers, Conduit racks, conductors, and 400 Hz systems, Interior and exterior lighting systems, Fire life and safety systems, including smoke and heat sensors and FM-200 installations
    • You'll ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, electrical panel shutdowns, and other electrical safety standards.
    • You'll inspect and verify the installation of IT and security systems, including:
    • IT door card readers and related components, Security cameras and communication/public address (P.A.) systems
    • You'll work closely with project managers, contractors, and engineers to ensure inspections are performed efficiently and in accordance with all relevant codes and safety regulations. Prepare and submit detailed reports documenting inspection findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
    • You'll stay updated on the latest changes to electrical codes, industry standards, and technological advancements in low voltage systems and electrical safety. Attend relevant training programs and workshops as required.
    • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.


HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience performing electrical/IT inspections
    • Current ICC Certification as a Commercial Electrical Inspector
    • NFPA 70E certified within the last 3 years
    • Ability to work 10:30PM to 7:00AM


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
    • Three (3) years of experience with airfield lighting
    • OSHA 30 Training
    • Fall protection and harness training
    • General understanding of low voltage systems including fire/life safety and information technology
    • Experience in inspection of electrical rough and finishes not limited to, underground utilities, high voltage gear & electrical panels, 400 HZ conduit racks, conductors, grounding systems, breakers, interior & exterior lighting, fire life & safety systems, smoke & heat sensors, FM-200 installations, lock out tag out requirements, electrical panel shutdowns, IT door card readers and components, security cameras and communication P.A. system
    • Ability to work well with others in large programs, is kind, well mannered & respectful all times with colleagues, stakeholders, construction community & the non-construction personnel
    • Open to learn the prescriptive items required by the client
    • Computer proficiency to review & utilize electronic equipment for contract documents in an efficient manner such as change orders, submittals, RFI's & other inspection documents efficiently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to write clear and concise documents depicting daily progress of the work, may be assigned to a program where the inspector prepares monthly progress payment request, tracks various changes, verifies time and material work, measure, and documents job quantities


$57 - $67 an hour

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below
