L'Analyste en Intelligence d'Affaires ralise des analyses financires et commerciales pour des initiatives de gnration de revenus. Ce rle est impliqu dans le processus de reporting financier et fournit l'quipe de direction et l'quipe PSSP des informations dcisionnelles en temps opportun sur la performance financire de McKesson et de ses partenaires commerciaux (fournisseurs et clients), ainsi que sur les opportunits commerciales. L'Analyste en Intelligence d'Affaires prpare des business cases solides pour de nouvelles opportunits, dveloppe des plans financiers pour soutenir les ngociations et surveille les carts de performance. Le candidat contribuera galement la prparation de portefeuilles et d'informations cls ncessaires pour les runions avec les fournisseurs et les clients.

Section A - Responsabilits Spcifiques
  • Construit et maintient un hub de donnes matre des fournisseurs qui contient les termes et conditions contractuels.
  • Suit le rendement des fournisseurs et d'autres indicateurs de rentabilit au fil du temps pour la modlisation financire.
  • Exploite les ensembles de donnes pour modliser des stratgies de ngociation de manire proactive et ad hoc pour l'quipe PSSP.
  • Surveille la performance des ventes des fournisseurs pour fournir des informations aux parties prenantes internes.
  • Fournit l'quipe PSSP des informations dcisionnelles grce un reporting cohrent, des mtriques et de l'intelligence d'affaires (par exemple, rentabilit des fournisseurs) sur les activits d'approvisionnement.
  • Ralise des analyses gnratrices de revenus - au niveau global et dtaill des fournisseurs.
  • Prpare des business cases dtaills pour valuer le rapport cot-bnfice des achats d'opportunit et d'autres nouvelles initiatives.
  • Identifie et communique les risques financiers et fournit des recommandations pour les programmes et initiatives sous-performants afin de s'assurer que les KPI restent en ligne avec les objectifs de McKesson.
  • Met jour les fichiers budgtaires, assure leur exactitude et leur intgrit, soumet ces fichiers l'quipe de direction et participe activement aux processus de prvision financire, de budgtisation annuelle et de planification long terme.
  • Responsable du cycle de reporting de fin de mois et de l'examen des rsultats financiers ; prvisions mensuelles.
  • Collecte des donnes sur la performance financire des fournisseurs bases sur les KPI dfinis par l'quipe PSSP et communique les rsultats pour soutenir le suivi de la gestion de la performance des fournisseurs.
  • Travaille avec les quipes PSSP et des oprations d'approvisionnement, et dans certains cas, directement avec le fournisseur pour mettre en uvre et surveiller les incitations bases sur la performance en rapport avec les mtriques ou objectifs convenus.
  • Mesure la croissance des revenus et la performance financire gnrale des achats.
  • Soutient les ngociations menes par PSSP en fournissant des informations significatives sur la rentabilit du fabricant et l'intelligence de march.
  • Collabore avec ses collgues Analystes d'Affaires travers MGPS pour tirer parti des meilleures pratiques et opportunits.

Job Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst performs financial and commercial analysis for revenue generation initiatives. The role is involved in the financial reporting process and provides the management team and PSSP team with timely decision-making information on financial performance of McKesson and its business partners (vendors and clients), as well as commercial opportunities. The Business Intelligence Analyst prepares sound business cases for new opportunities, develops financial plans to support negotiations, and monitors gaps in performance. The candidate will also contribute to the preparation of portfolios and key information required for supplier and customer meetings.

Section A - Specific Responsibilities
  • Builds and maintains supplier master data hub which houses contractual terms and conditions
  • Tracks supplier yield and other profitability metrics over time for the purpose of financial modeling
  • Leverages data sets to model negotiation strategies proactively and ad hoc for PSSP team
  • Monitors supplier sales performance to provide insights to internal stakeholders
  • Provides the PSSP team with decision-making information through consistent reporting, metrics and business intelligence (e. g. vendors' profitability) on procurement activities.
  • Conducts revenue generating analyses - at overall and vendor-level of detail
  • Prepares detailed business cases to assess cost-benefits of opportunity buys and other new initiatives.
  • Identifies and communicates financial risks and provides recommendations for low performing programs and initiatives to ensure KPIs stay in line with McKesson targets.
  • Updates budget files, ensures their accuracy and integrity, submits these files to the Management team and actively participates in the financial forecasting, annual budgeting and long-range plan process.
  • Responsible for month-end reporting cycle and review of financial results; monthly forecasting
  • Collects data on vendors' financial performance based on KPIs defined by the PSSP team and communicates results to support follow-up on vendor performance management.
  • Works with PSSP and Procurement Operations teams, and in some cases, directly with vendor to implement and monitor performance-driven incentives pertaining to agreed-to metrics or objectives
  • Measures revenue growth and general procurement financial performance.
  • Supports negotiations led by PSSP by providing meaningful insights into manufacturer's profitability and market intelligence.
  • Collaborates with Business Analyst colleagues across MGPS to leverage best practices and opportunities

Section C - Position Requirements

Work Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory management and replenishment.
  • Retail/Wholesale/Life Sciences experience an asset.
  • Inventory management experience an asset.


Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance or equivalent.
