As Senior Offering Management Specialist you will beresponsible for leading the commercial success of turbomachinery control software,a main product line for the business. You will be responsible for managingexisting turbomachinery control applications, like antisurge, performance,master, speed, extraction, fuel control for different types of equipment, like compressors,steam turbines, gas turbines, expanders, generators. You will be tailoring the valueproposition and commercial offering to different types of industrial processesand turbomachinery services, in which this equipment is operating. You willresearch and identify new markets, processes, and turbomachinery applications,and determine business case and product requirements for new productintroductions (NPI). You will collaborate with technology teams and cross-functionalteams to ensure the timely and successful launch of new products.

Location: Des Moines, IA or Houston, TX locations

Work Schedule: Hybrid - For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Knowledge of turbomachinery control market and applications in different industries: Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Power Generation, Industrial, etc.
  • Ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to develop strategy, vision and roadmap the product line.
  • Experience performing voice of customer and voice of sales and developing business cases.
  • Experience managing NPI projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Technical knowledge related to product development and introduction processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop sales enablement packages and lead product launch and boost campaigns.
  • Proficiency with project management and product management tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research andcompetitive analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and customer needs forturbomachinery control in different verticals. Use insights to inform productstrategies, new product requirements and make data-driven decisions.
NPI Ideation: Identify NPI opportunities, developbusiness case and product requirements to propose investments in modificationof existing products or development of new products that will expand the marketcoverage.
NPI Project Management: Lead or supervise new productintroduction process. Coordinate with technology teams and cross-functionalteams to ensure the timely and successful development and launch of newproducts.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate withR&D, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensurealignment and integration of new products and lifecycle support of existingproducts. Facilitate effective communication and resolve any issues that arise.
Product Pricing: Monitor product pricing performanceand review pricing during recurrent
Product Commercialization: Responsible for commercialsuccess of the product line. Work with marketing and sales teams to ensure thatexisting and new products are well positioned in the market and supported withappropriate training and materials. Tailor sales enablement packages tospecific markets and applications, highlighting the relevant solutions andvalue propositions.
Strategic Planning: Develop product line roadmap thatalign with market needs and business goals. Provide insights andrecommendations based on market research and competitive analysis.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensivedocumentation related to new product introductions. Prepare and present reportson project status, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage withcustomers and stakeholders to gather feedback on products and new ideas.Utilize feedback to drive product improvements and enhance customersatisfaction.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potentialissues during the NPI phase and develop solutions to address them. Implementstrategies to prevent future issues and ensure a smooth product launch.

Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, new product introduction, or a related role
  • 5+ years of experience in turbomachinery control solutions
  • Knowledge of control applications for different verticals, industrial processes and turbomachinery equipment services
  • Experience in offering management, product management, business development, marketing, sales, project engineering or field services for turbomachinery control
  • Ability to develop business cases and lead NPI projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to engage customers
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
