A little about the position:

Job Summary: The Manager of Process/Business Improvement will design, develop, rollout and implement the Latham Business System as the framework for continuous improvement and encompassing all areas including operations, supply chain, commercial, finance, legal and HR and with People, Process and Value as the core foundational elements. Responsibilities entail creation and rollout of standard work, methodical way of problem solving through structured and data enabled root cause analysis process tools and integrating Kaizen in everyday life at Latham. Lead ERP deployments at multiple manufacturing sites.
Accountability for Quality portion of implementation, in partnership with ERP provider, 3rd party implementation team and internal resources. Role will lead operations workstreams, including customer service, order entry, scheduling, manufacturing, shipping and warranty.

Some of What You Will Do:
  • Develop and manage the Latham Business System.
  • Align the business strategy, goals, and capabilities with the IT infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Perform risk management, scalability considerations, and the ability to strategically adapt to evolving business landscapes.
  • Manage the document life cycle including, but not limited to, issuing templates, reviewing, updating and revising documentation, and routing documents for approval and qualification provided from Doc Owners.
  • Identify/develop processes and perform testing/ training on new Quality Modules of IFS to plant leadership/ resources including NCR, CAPA, MRB and control plan completion. Support Warranty Module implementation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance of document review requests to meet applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) format.
  • Maintain working relationship with all document owners across the organization and schedule/drive SOP yearly review to unsure current up to date procedures are accessible for use.
  • Train organization on new standards and requirements to maintain compliance.
  • Participate in Lean kaizen events to drive process improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with staff in the development of policies and procedures and ensure that the Latham Business System is organized and updated as required.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the implemented solutions, ensuring they remain aligned with evolving business strategies and industry trends.
  • Schedules and performs quality audits and reports findings; develop corrective action plans and ensures timely resolution of findings.
  • Lead collaboration across Operations workstreams, working with internal and external stakeholders to meet IFS implementation timelines
  • Create and manage detailed, custom implementation project plans across multiple operations workstreams and multiple sites
  • Lead documentation of operations process flows, identification of system gaps, and work with internal stakeholders to prioritize deployment and solution activities
  • Serve as a key connector between all internal Operations teams, to ensure on-time delivery of system configurations and project go-lives
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain or a related field; master's degree or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years minimum of experience working in a lean manufacturing environment in a progressive leadership capacity leading business process improvement
  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Experience leading large cross-functional or multi-location projects and timelines
  • Proven ability to lead others in use of problem-solving methodologies and rigor, while maintaining a focus on improving business productivity and results
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement for reduction in waste, reduction in cost and/or improvement in process control
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with various subject matter experts across the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with strong interpersonal, influence and facilitation skills
  • Intermediate/advanced aptitude in Microsoft Office software
  • Requires high energy and a willingness to make process improvements based on data and investigation
  • Able to travel approximately ~25% of the time with overnights in North America

Salary Range: $80,000-$130,000

Bonus: Management Incentive Bonus, MIB Tier 3, 10%
