Reporting to the Site Director, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, you would be responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient patient services within a matrix management structure and the overall administration and coordination of services provided by staff in the Audiology, Orthotics & Prosthetics, the Seating Vendor Services for Custom Seating and support specific program/services to meet patient and site needs. Program management responsibilities currently include the Cochlear Implant Service, Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) Clinic, Specialized Audiology Pediatrics and Adults, and Videonystagmography (VNG) Services, Sexual Health Services and the Driver Training & Evaluation Service.

Required Qualifications:
Masters level degree (or equivalency) in an Allied Health discipline required. Minimum 3-5 years related clinical management experience, or equivalent. Active registration with the relevant Colleges and/or Associations is required.

Additional Required Qualifications:
Solid knowledge of patient care services delivery models and systems. Knowledge of management/leadership processes. Knowledge of health care refocus. Understanding of research methodology. Ability to lead progressive patient care services consistent with a refocused healthcare system. Ability to select effective approaches based on analysis and sound judgement. Ability to build constructive relationships. Excellent communication, interpersonal and public relations skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and promote teamwork. Effective financial management skills, effective measurement and monitoring. Ability to manage within approved budgets. Proactive in planning, developing, and implementing effective strategies to resolve issues and problems. Effective change management expertise. Effective ability to manage diverse scope of responsibilities. Results orientated. Business management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Training in program evaluation and project management. Extensive clinical experience in tertiary rehabilitation preferred. Post-graduate education in Health Leadership or Business Administration. Preferred associate membership in the Alberta Association of Orthotists and Prosthetists and membership in Orthotics / Prosthetics Canada is an asset.
