Location: Charlotte, NC (Belmont Area 28012)
Company specializes in high-quality interior design solutions for residential and commercial spaces. We create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments, offering services like space planning, furniture selection, and custom design.
Pay Rate: ~ $35--$47/hr [~ $73k--$98k] (Dependent on experience and education)
Job Description:

• Conduct site visits for field measurements
• Read and interpret architectural drawings
• Prepare technical and shop drawings and details
• Work efficiently and profitably according to company standards
• Interpret field takeoffs, measurements, and make necessary modifications
• Collaborate with the design team to resolve design issues
• Manage multiple projects, keeping up with revisions from initiation to completion
• Follow computer processes and procedures
• Attend client meetings as required
• Maintain and build a standard option library
• Exhibit a high degree of passion, drive, and design knowledge

Required:

• ~ +/- 8 years of Architectural and Design Drafting experience with high-end residential/multifamily projects
• On path to obtaining an Architectural license
• Knowledge of North Carolina house building code
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Sketchup
• Experience with shop drawings for millwork and custom furniture details
• Familiarity with industry terminology and standard construction methods/materials
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent 3D visualization, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, manage several projects, and demonstrate critical thinking skills
• Dedicated and detail-oriented

Preferred:

• Experience and passion for the residential custom building industry
• Registered Architect

Additional Information:

• Work on high-end, custom residential properties (typically ~ $5 million range)
• Small-to-mid-size Architectural Interiors and Construction Firm
• Opportunity to work from home with a minimum of 3 days in the office
