Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager of Inside Sales to lead our inside sales team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by managing sales operations, developing team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives. Additionally, the role will focus on identifying and executing strategies to show impact in driving Shield growth. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for hiring additional headcount to address coverage needs.

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,600 to $176,800. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager of Inside Sales to lead our inside sales team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by managing sales operations, developing team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for hiring additional headcount to address coverage needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Sales Strategy Development: Define and implement sales strategies to drive account depth and breadth.
- Performance Management: Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Business Expansion: Develop and oversee lab prospecting and account prospecting efforts to create new opportunities.
- Hiring & Team Expansion: Identify staffing needs and lead hiring efforts to ensure adequate coverage and growth.
- Training and Development: Coordinate with Screening Sales Training to facilitate ongoing training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer support, and product teams to align on sales initiatives.
- Reporting and Analysis: Utilize sales data to analyze performance trends, forecast sales, and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with Data Analytics team to build dashboards ad reporting.
- Customer Relationship Management: Engage with key customers to build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of inside sales experience, with at least 7+ years in sales leadership role, preferably in the diagnostics, biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Preferred experience scaling an inside sales team from a small group (5 or fewer members) to a large, high-performing team.
Skills:
- Strong sales leadership and management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience using common software for inside sales
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
