This role involves mechanical design, electronic packaging, thermal analysis, and close collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines to deliver innovative products on accelerated timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $60k/yr. - $120k/yr. ($60-90 for 1-5 years, $90-120 for 5-10 years)

Job Overview: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our interdisciplinary design team in developing cutting-edge custom LCD display products for the digital signage industry. This role involves mechanical design, electronic packaging, thermal analysis, and close collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines to deliver innovative products on accelerated timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept creation and mechanical design using PTC Creo and Windchill.
- Develop and document detailed mechanical designs for custom LCD display products.
- Perform thermal design and analysis of cooling solutions for electronic components.
- Conduct structural analysis to ensure product reliability and durability.
- Design for manufacturability and serviceability to streamline production and maintenance.
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Provide manufacturing support and oversee sustaining engineering activities.
- Collaborate with electrical, optical, systems, software, and industrial engineers, as well as program managers and manufacturing teams, to achieve project objectives.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment leveraging a wide range of in-house fabrication and manufacturing capabilities.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Master's Degree is a plus).
- 2-10 years of mechanical design experience.
- Experience with sheet metal and extrusion fabrication processes is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software is required (PTC Creo and Windchill experience is a plus).
- Experience with PTC Simulate (Mechanica), Flo-EFD, and Femap is a strong advantage.
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform well under tight schedules.
- Familiarity with electronic packaging for digital display products.
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
- Knowledge of thermal and structural simulation tools.
