A Day in the Life

As a Social Advocacy and Influence Manager reporting to the Director of Social Advocacy and Influence within the CDMO team, you will be a key player in shaping L'Oral Canada's social, influencer and PR strategy. You'll work closely with a small, dynamic team of three, collaborating extensively with divisional advocacy and influence leads, brand teams, and external partners like Traackr, Meta, Google, and TikTok. This role offers high visibility across all L'Oral Canada brands, providing unique opportunities to drive innovation and best practices within a rapidly evolving channel.
  • Social Advocacy and Influence Strategy Management: Implement comprehensive social advocacy and influence strategies aligned with L'Oral Canada's overall marketing objectives. This includes setting KPIs, overseeing campaign execution and performance across various platforms and scaling best practices across the brands.
  • Influencer Management: Establish and refine guidelines and processes for influencer management with agency partners. Implement tools to facilitate influencer recruitment, retention and efficiency across L'Oreal Canada brands.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools like Power BI and Excel to track the market and L'Oreal's brand performance, identify key insights, and provide strategic recommendations for optimization. You will present regular reports to stakeholders, showcasing social and advocacy insights and opportunities for the group.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Media, Data, Brand Marketing) and external partners (media and influence agencies, technology providers) to execute integrated campaigns and leverage synergies across channels.

We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for social media and influencer marketing. They possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making: Proven ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Project Management: Exceptional organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Influencer Management: Experience in identifying, recruiting, and managing influencers across various platforms.
  • Digital Platform & Partner Relationship: Strong understanding of digital platforms and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners.
  • Power BI & Excel Proficiency: Working knowledge of Power BI and Excel, with the ability to perform data analysis, create reports, and generate visualizations.
