Your Role

We are seeking a mid-level Project Engineer/Geologist to join our Leesburg, VA office. This is a unique professional growth opportunity to work closely with the office founder and team, supporting a seamless transition of management and technical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support site investigations, characterizations, and remediation efforts for environmental and geotechnical projects.
  • Evaluate geologic site conditions impacted by inorganic and organic contaminants.
  • Apply recognized remediation approaches to address contamination and reduce risks to on-site and off-site receptors.
  • Conduct risk assessments, including organic vapor mitigation for sub-slab and ambient air conditions.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, site assessments, and remediation plans.
  • Manage and develop client relationships while expanding professional networks.
  • Assist with project management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality consulting services.
  • Work toward a future leadership role, with potential advancement to Branch Manager.


What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in geotechnical and environmental services, including engineering reports, site characterization, remedial design, and implementation.
  • Experience with Virginia's Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) and Maryland's Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP).
  • CPG or PE licensure preferred (or actively pursuing licensure).
  • Strong leadership, management, and business development skills, with potential for future advancement.
