Seeking an experienced Water Resources Designer to take a leading role in delivering innovative stormwater and water resource solutions. Join our dynamic GSI and Water Resources Team to tackle complex design challenges, mentor others, and help shape projects that make a lasting environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical stormwater designs, retrofits, and watershed planning studies
• Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality deliverables
• Coach and mentor Engineers, Designers, and CAD Technicians
• Design and produce civil engineering documents (site plans, construction drawings, reports)
• Work on innovative stormwater projects that reduce flooding, improve water quality, and align with site architecture
• Engage with permitting entities to advance project components
• Conduct occasional fieldwork and site visits during project phases

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of design experience in water resources, civil engineering, or GSI
• Proficiency in hydrograph routing, H+H modeling, and AutoCAD
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Registered PE in North Carolina or Texas, or the ability to obtain licensure within 4 months

Preferred Qualifications:

• SCM design and modeling experience
• Familiarity with Civil 3D and ArcGIS Pro
• Knowledge of stormwater regulations and permitting requirements
