Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to lead and support the design of integrated mechanical and electrical systems. This role involves driving new product development (NPD) efforts, from concept through production, and developing system layouts and assemblies for complex electromechanical devices. If you bring a strong background in SolidWorks-based design, cross-functional engineering collaboration, and 10+ years of product development experience, this is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine electro-mechanical system layouts, integrating mechanical structure with embedded electrical components.
  • Drive new product development initiatives from concept through production release, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and quality.
  • Create detailed models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks, with an emphasis on system-level integration.
  • Apply CAE tools for performance validation and iterative design improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to align mechanical design with functional requirements.
  • Manage design documentation, BOMs, and support prototyping and design validation activities.
  • Qualifications:
  • BSME required; advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in electro-mechanical product design, including system-level layout and integration.
  • Expert in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, mechanical detailing, and assembly design.
  • Familiarity with CAE tools for simulation and performance evaluation.
  • Proven ability to contribute across disciplines in a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills for supporting scalable product development.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with an eye for innovation and continuous improvement.
