This exciting position is for an Authorization Owner within the EOPS organization. This role will be a trusted partner with our Export Compliance organization, with specific emphasis on ensuring Honeywell maintains a best-in-class program for compliance with the U.S. Arms Export Control Act and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), addressing licensing, system controls, policies and procedures, training, transactions, and audits. This role will focus on export Authorization Ownership (AO), managing assigned Department of Commerce (DoC) Technology and Production Export Licenses, and include tasks such as performing export authorization health checks, validating recordkeeping requirements, maintaining records of all defense services provided, reporting risks and escapes, deploying corrective actions and supporting consent agreement audits.

Key Responsibilities:
Understand the scope of the export authorization, including all conditions and limitations - per flow down from Export team; be the main point of contact with Exports for the authorization.
Establish business relationships with all program personnel, especially with those who will be exporting data (Authorized Users); ensure they are aware of the scope of the agreement and perform training and/ or direct them to training as needed.
Monitor compliance with applicable technology control plans and conditions.
Manage changes in scope for assigned projects and engage Export Compliance to assess whether the agreement needs to be amended; submit requests for licenses to ship hardware under the agreement.
Monitor shipments under production licenses and ensure enough quantity and value are available
Submit requests for new and renewal of licenses with complete information and with enough lead time (approx.12-14 weeks) for USG approval.
Engage with non-US parties to communicate compliance requirements and obtain all signatures on all necessary documents to comply with the terms of the license conditions (Example: obtaining inventory report from customers)
Review exports of data in TeamCenter, and AECS to ensure compliance with the authorization.
Maintain records of all defense services provided and of all exchanges of technical information via meetings, teleconferences, and site visits; provide such records to Export Compliance at least quarterly
Provide documents, reports, records upon Export's request to support compliance assurance audits and investigations, as needed.
Document and report any escapes (or potential escapes) and work with Exports to deploy corrective actions.

Support export compliance audits, reviews and assessments.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University in Engineering, Business
Export Compliance experience or experience working for a multinational company or a U.S. defense contractor.
Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
Program Management and Technical knowledge and experience.
Strong system capabilities such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

Familiar with the U.S. Trade Regulations or U.S. Government Contracting Regulations such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Excellent teaming integration and collaboration skills.
Strong bias for action-ability to make informed decisions in a complex environment and drive execution via indirect leadership.
Strong collaboration within SBUs and functions, Demand Mgmt., ISC, Finance and CBT's to ensure common tools & processes are implemented.
Technical background is helpful, but not required.
