As a Lead Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will playa critical role in providing advanced engineering support for various projectsand initiatives. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring thesuccessful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery ofhigh-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate withcross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that allengineering support requirements are met.

You will report to the senior engineering Manager of theMilitary Avionics COE and be responsible for driving execution on the existingmilitary platforms. You will also be engaged in introducing and adopting newtechnologies in support of Honeywell 360 Display, militarized Anthem flightdecks, and unmanned operations.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of ourengineering support operations. You will be responsible for managing a team ofsupport specialists, providing guidance and support to resolve complex customerissues, and driving improvements in our support processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage a team of engineers to provide advanced engineeringsupport for NPI projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute projectplans
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complexengineering problems (hardware and software)
Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborationwith internal and external customers
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineeringprocesses and efficiency
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5+ years of experience in advanced engineering support orrelated roles
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of LINUX platform, Display technology, Networking, Video protocols, Graphics/GPUs, etc.
Background in qual testing, H/W and S/W integration, RequirementsManagement system (DOORs) or similarrequirement management tools/systems
