Eaton's Corporate IT group is seeking an MES Digital Manufacturing Senior Program Manager to lead end-to-end MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) initiatives globally utilizing Dassault Apriso. This hybrid role may be located at the following Eaton sites: Beachwood, OH; Houston, TX; Raleigh, NC; Moon Township, PA; Galesburg, MI. Travel up to 25% is required.

Reporting to the Director of IT, this role involves driving and managing transformational MES programs to ensure seamless integration and execution across all phases globally. It requires ensuring teams follow Agile practices and Scrum framework values to increase efficiency and provide motivation and guidance for continuous process improvement. Identifying and eliminating team impediments with minimal supervision in a complex environment is also crucial. Leveraging extensive experience in MES program management to navigate challenges and drive success is essential.

In this role you will:

Strategic Leadership and Program Management
Lead the global MES Program from design through deployment, overseeing multiple interconnected work streams to ensure successful delivery across sites
Develop and implement a comprehensive global MES strategy with standardized approach
Manage the entire life cycle of MES deployments, providing complete governance
Coordinate all IT/IM related activities throughout the project lifecycle in line with the overall project plan
Monitor schedules, budgets, and resources across the program
Report program status, risks, and mitigation plans to executive sponsors and the global PMO
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with stakeholders from Manufacturing, IT, OT, QA, and Engineering
Serve as the liaison between Business Transformation Lead, plant business operations and integrator team
Work with project sponsors and stakeholders to manage scope, goals, deliverables, resources, risks, and budget
Visit sites and conduct workshops with plant users to understand existing processes
System Implementation and Integration
Ensure the integration of MES with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), SCADA, automation systems, historians, and lab systems
Manage vendor selection and system configuration processes
Support the deployment and standardization of MES systems across multiple global manufacturing locations
Align local plant implementations with the global MES template to support standardization and process harmonization
Coordinate with sites for acceptance testing and user training
Quality and Compliance
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
Define standards and best practices for MES applications
Generate IT change controls and drive their timely closure
Change Management and Training
Change management and training initiatives to ensure system adoption and cultural alignment
Coordinate training development, site questionnaires, help documentation, checklists, and job aids
Provide onsite and/or remote hypercare support
Technical Oversight
Manage system configurations, upgrades, and updates in collaboration with IT teams and vendors
Ensure adoption of new technologies such as IoT, AI, and cloud-based MES systems
Enforce and oversee data management strategy and cybersecurity measures for MES systems
Supervise vendor engineers and contractors as required

Your Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years proven experience in managing large-scale MES transformation programs, preferably with Dassault Apriso
  • Expert understanding of IT product management and/or modern product delivery processes on a global, multi-site scale, encompassing multi-million-dollar vendor contracts
  • Experience in guiding product development and managing product backlogs
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and importance of integrating security into every stage of development lifecycle
  • Strong familiarity with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
  • Expert level experience with Agile software tools and producing Agile artifacts, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required

  • Expertise in change management and the ability to drive organizational change effectively

The expected annual salary range for this role is $158249.97 - $232099.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
