We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indirect Procurement Director to join our dynamic procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of indirect goods and services, ensuring that the company achieves its strategic objectives while optimizing costs and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What you'll be working on
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories, including but not limited to IT, marketing, facilities, and professional services that align with organizational goals and objectives
  • Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and provide support in sourcing and supplier selection
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies related to procurement activities
  • Prepare and present procurement reports and recommendations to senior management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement

What you bring to the role
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in indirect procurement or a related field, with a proven track record of successful negotiations and supplier management
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, trends, and supplier landscapes
  • Proficiency in using procurement software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are desirable
  • Experience with Ironclad, Netsuite, JIRA and other related tools
  • Master skills using Excel, PowerBI (and other such products)

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $181,000 to $188,810. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
