Position Overview
The Vice President, Global Market Access will lead the strategy, innovation, and execution of global market access and pricing for Genmab's evolving portfolio, spanning Oncology and Immunology & Inflammation (I&I). This executive-level position is responsible for maximizing patient access to Genmab's therapies by developing differentiated value propositions and comprehensive reimbursement strategies. The role requires close collaboration with R&D, Medical, HEOR, Regulatory, and Commercial teams, and plays a pivotal part in launch planning and commercial readiness across markets. It combines strategic leadership, operational execution, and innovation in pricing, contracting, and commercialization models.
This is a hybrid role that requires being onsite 60% of the time in Princeton, NJ.

$296,480.00---$444,720.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:
Global Market Access & Pricing Leadership
- Define and execute best-in-class global access and pricing strategies to ensure broad and sustainable patient access to Genmab's therapies.
- Drive early access planning and pricing strategies for pipeline assets, including HTA planning and payer evidence generation.
- Optimize product value by leading cross-functional development of value frameworks, economic models, and pricing strategies.
- Lead and shape global pricing strategy, reimbursement scenarios, contracting approaches, and country-specific launch sequencing.
Commercial & Therapeutic Area Strategy
- Represent Market Access in cross-functional leadership teams for portfolio decision-making, clinical development design, lifecycle management, and go-to-market planning.
- Drive commercialization model innovation across Oncology and I&I, ensuring a differentiated customer experience, including AE management, product delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
- Partner with country teams and alliance partners to translate global strategies into localized access approaches and ensure aligned execution.
Organizational Leadership
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing global market access team with a strong future-facing mindset.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and thought leader across the organization, driving bold, data-driven decisions in a rapidly evolving access environment.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including HEOR, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Analytics, and Partner Organizations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Establish strong relationships with global HTA bodies, payers, KOLs, and patient advocacy groups to understand evolving access requirements and shape value communication strategies.
- Lead the development and delivery of compelling global payer value propositions and core access materials.
- Provide clear communication and insights to senior leadership on market access risks, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.Sc., or MBA) preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive global market access experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- Deep expertise in Oncology (required); experience in I&I and ultra-orphan/specialty therapeutics strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in pricing and reimbursement, including at least 2 successful commercial launches globally.
- Hands-on experience in building and managing global market access teams and strategies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and alliance partners in mid-sized to large biopharma settings.

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and scenario planning skills; adept at translating data into insights and decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills; able to lead through influence and build collaborative relationships across all levels.
- Deep understanding of global payer systems including USA, EU5, and Japan, and emerging access models.
