Job Summary:
Acrisure is seeking a knowledgeable and diligent Paralegal to support our compliance and data privacy programs. This role involves working closely with our Legal and Compliance teams to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations, manage and oversee the Company's U.S. data privacy program, and support overall compliance policies, programs and initiatives.

Job Summary:
Acrisure is seeking a knowledgeable and diligent Paralegal to support our compliance and data privacy programs. This role involves working closely with our Legal and Compliance teams to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations, manage and oversee the Company's U.S. data privacy program, and support overall compliance policies, programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Data Privacy Program Management:
- With direction and oversight of the Company's attorneys, assist in the overall development, implementation and management of the Company's data privacy program.
- Monitor and report on data privacy compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as GLBA and CCPA.
- Review and respond to U.S. DSRs (data subject requests).
- Manage external service providers (call center and mailing vendors) utilized in connection with the Company's privacy program.
- Develop and deliver trainings for internal stakeholders and service providers.
- Develop and maintain reports on data privacy requests.
Compliance:
- With direction and oversight of attorneys, assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
- Assist with compliance training programs for staff and management and third-party service providers.
- Track and report on compliance metrics and remediate non-compliance issues.
IP and Legal Support:
- Support the Company's global intellectual property portfolio and related intellectual property (IP) matters, including tracking and coordinating trademark and service mark applications and responses to maintain and protect the Company's global brands.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research and analysis on matters regarding compliance, data privacy, and other relevant topics.
- Maintain and organize legal and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Ability to effectively manage and navigate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Work with cross-functional/cross-departmental project teams and communication with members of functions/departments outside of the Legal Department.
- Work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Effectively and timely communicate with all members of the Legal Department, including senior, mid-level and junior attorneys as well as other paralegals and support staff.
- Work with extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work in a self-motivated and driven manner.
- Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively in writing and orally, including the ability to actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
- At least 5-10 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on compliance and data privacy issues, in a law firm corporate or transactional practice or in-house law department supporting corporate or transactional matters, required.
- Familiarity with U.S. data privacy laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
