  • The role will manage regulatory requirements from the date of issue until its completion.


What you'll do

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
  • Ensure FAA correspondence meets established standards
  • Ability to effectively manage regulatory requirements through team meetings to meet internal and FAA requirements
  • Liaison with the FAA, or other regulatory agencies, to manage correspondence
  • Provides subject matter expertise on regulatory issues for internal departments
  • Participate in various working group(s), Data Analysis Groups (DAG), and Operational Standards Board (OSB) meetings
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization


All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent experience and/or training
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Equivalent experience and/or training in just culture principles, root cause investigations and Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Broad airline operational and/or airworthiness experience/knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations


Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Advanced degree preferred in related field or equivalent experience / training
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to make connections across functional areas, and understand dependencies and implications
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently, complete projects on time, perform under pressure and respond to changing priorities


Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must work will with deadlines
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to prepare reports based on data analysis
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management and regulatory agencies
  • Effective organization and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and written skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
