Description

The Providence Health Plan (PHP) IT Delivery team is seeking a Corporate Real Estate Project Manager (contractor) position. This role will be critical in implementing and supporting PHP's real estate strategy.

We are looking for a Corporate Real Estate Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing a real estate vacate, move and refresh project from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate real estate project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with various stakeholders such as architects, engineers, contractors, and employees. You will ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Development:
  • Develop and manage project scope, timelines, including milestones and deliverables, and budgets.
  • Prepare project plans and specifications.

Facilities Management:
  • Oversee facilities activities, ensuring adherence to plans and schedules.
  • Manage key partners, contractors and subcontractors to deliver work on budget, time and to the design intent.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders.

Budget and Financial Management:
  • Facilitate and review bids, contracts, ROMs from vendors.
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budget.

Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess potential project risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project performance and address any issues that arise.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing project updates including financial information, general progress, and project milestones.
  • Manage expectations and address concerns.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder requirements.

Communication Management:
  • Own all project information, its distribution and coordination internally and externally.
  • Own and facilitate all project meetings for internal and external resources.
  • Track actions, risks, and project documentation.

Project Closure:
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed and meet quality standards.
  • Prepare project close-out reports and documentation.
  • Evaluate project performance and identify lessons learned.


Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate real estate project management.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and executing projects.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate processes, practices, and regulations.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites. Must be located in Portland, Oregon area.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on budget, on time and to the design intent.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., real estate, construction management, architecture).
  • Experience in hybrid working efficiency.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
