Tinker Federal Credit Union's Branch Operations Administration department is growing! There is an immediate opening for an Operations Specialist! As an Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Ensuring all operational activities comply with regulatory requirements and TFCU compliance policies.
  • Supporting and assisting Operations with managing vendor relationships, overseeing various projects, ensuring portal information is up to date, and providing recommendations for operational improvement.
  • Providing a wide variety of duties with the autonomy and discretion to ensure their effective completion.
  • Developing and maintaining various levels of reporting methods, to enhance or forecast the operational effectiveness provided by Branch Operations.

Salary Range:

This is an exempt position. The starting salary range is $102,424-$128,030; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.

Schedule/Remote Work:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule once all on-site training requirements are met successfully & upon approval from the Vice President (VP)/Regional Director, Branch Operations East.

Education/Experience:

You must have a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, technology, or a related field, and five years of combined experience directly related to the operational function, audit, control, equipment/systems testing, data analytics and/or reconciliation processes within financial institutions are required. Credit union experience is preferred.

Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels or relevant but not required certifications may be eligible to satisfy minimum experience requirements.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU's chosen authority.
  • TFCU University certification required.
  • Complete and pass regulations training.
  • Completed Teller Capstone.

  • Comfortable speaking on camera, via virtual technology.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail to work multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to focus in a high paced multi-channel environment using virtual technology.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Knowledge of privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines.
  • Knowledge of TFCU history, code of ethics, and products and services.
  • Working knowledge of Symitar navigation, NCR/Enterprise systems, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg J, Deluxe, Home Branch Messaging, MoneyGram, InfoImage, Co-Op locator, Synergy, QuickAssist, and Reg E Monetary Instrument log.
  • Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.
  • Ability to adhere to proper grooming and professional appearance standards.
