Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Systems Security Officer to join our team. The Information Systems Security Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our organization's overall information systems security strategy. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive information systems security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the organization's digital assets and infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and breaches promptly, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the organization's systems and processes.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and stakeholders involved in information security initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in information systems security management, with a proven track record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including but not limited to network security, encryption, access control, and incident response.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing security incidents and conducting forensic investigations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligibility Requirement: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
  • May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
  • Requires work with small to medium size hand and power tools
  • Maintain working relationship with DoD/DCSA rep
  • May need to travel domestically (up to 10%)
