E&I Designer

Job Description

Must be able to work in Sherman, TX
E&I Designer to be responsible for designing and developing electrical and instrumentation systems for various projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that all designs meet project requirements and are completed on time and within budget.
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in E&I design
• Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 10

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for various projects
• Create detailed drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or other design software
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that all designs meet project requirements
• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes and standards
• Provide technical support to project teams during construction and commissioning phases
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates
• Review and approve vendor drawings and documentation
• Maintain accurate records of all design activities

Pay Range-$35/hr-$50/hr
