The Worldwide Retail Growth and Development team is responsible for the strategic planning, acquisition, design, construction, launch, and maintenance of Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores' real estate assets. This includes Whole Foods Market, Amazon Grocery Stores, and Amazon Grocery Logistics.

We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to align our vision, strategy and tactics to deliver innovation and growth across our grocery banners and channels. This role will partner across functional teams including business leaders, real estate and development professionals, finance, operations, and merchant teams to identify opportunities to grow, build and optimize our growing fleet of grocery buildings and assets. They will need to flex strong business acumen, finance/analytical skills, and collaborative influence skills to drive complex, ambiguous initiatives that tie our long-term strategy to operational planning. They will be responsible for delivering operational and long-term planning across businesses for Amazon and Whole Foods Market banners, and will need to be ready to dive into the most complex, high-impact opportunities facing our Growth & Development teams.

Key job responsibilities

- Own and deliver launch and development plans from quarterly up through 3-year time horizons

- Collaborate across functions to deliver plans that balance a variety of customer, business and financial needs

- Partner with business, finance, and real estate/development teams to turn new concepts and programs into reality

- Identify mechanisms to increase speed to deliver and reduce cost to build

The Retail Growth & Development team is at the forefront of expanding and optimizing Amazon's physical retail presence. We oversee strategic planning, development, and operations for a diverse portfolio of grocery stores and logistics facilities. Our team combines innovative thinking with operational excellence to create exceptional shopping experiences for customers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

- Experience delivering strategic and operational plans

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

- Experience in management consulting, retail strategy, and/or real estate/development fields.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
