Job Description
We are seeking a Solution Architect / Development Team Lead to play a critical role in translating high-level architectural strategy into practical, scalable, and high-performing solutions. Reporting to the Director of Digital Platforms, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions within our digital platforms. In addition to solution design, you will provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring alignment with best practices, security standards, and
business objectives. You will lead high-impact projects in cutting-edge digital platforms. Come join our collaborative, forward-thinking team of architects and engineers.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solution Design & Implementation
Translate the technical vision and principles set by the Director of Digital Platforms into detailed, implementable designs.
Design end-to-end solutions for platform features, modules, or services, ensuring
scalability, maintainability, and security.
Work hands-on with developers to build proof-of-concepts and prototypes.
Technology & Framework Selection
Select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for specific solutions.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise technology standards and best practices.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the existing architecture.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with engineering teams, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
Act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation.
Architectural Governance & Compliance
Ensure that solutions follow architectural guidelines, security best practices, and performance standards.
Conduct design reviews, architecture reviews, and code reviews to ensure consistency and quality.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Integration & API Design
Design integrations between platform components, third-party systems, and external services.
Define API contracts, data flows, and security measures for integrations.
Ensure seamless interoperability across systems.
Performance Optimization & Scalability
Design solutions that support high availability, fault tolerance, and large-scale workloads.
The Solution Architect / Development Team Lead ensures that specific solutions within that framework are effectively designed, implemented, and optimized.
Provides feedback to the Director of Digital Platforms on practical implementation challenges and suggests improvements.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture.
Proven expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, serverless).
Hands-on experience with API development, system integration, and DevOps practices.
Strong knowledge of security best practices, compliance, and data protection standards.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make high-impact technical decisions.

Provides feedback to the Director of Digital Platforms on practical implementation
challenges and suggests improvements.
