The primary responsibility of this position is to provide actuation expertise to support Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Sales by selecting actuators and actuators accessories, creating BOMs and routings for selected actuators, and troubleshooting problems related to selected actuators.

Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all actuation related topics. Able to explain complicated subjects clearly and concisely to all audiences.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and suppliers to provide customers with the best possible solutions to meet their requirements.
- Make or verify actuator selections to ensure conformance to customer specifications and valve design inputs.
- Solid understanding of actuation control systems and accessories (e.g. solenoids, limit switches, regulators, etc.).
- Work with all pertinent parties to achieve any necessary clarifications related to proposals.
- Actively participate in the documentation related to projects (e.g. drawings, schematics, circuit diagrams, consumption charts, etc.).
- Create and manage Actuators' Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings.
- Provide dispositions and create rework jobs to address NCR materials.
- Hands-on troubleshooting during actuator's assembly and test.
- May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor or manager, as directed.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding.
- Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills.
- Exhibit a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy.
- Work well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time.
- Work closely with Product Engineering and Production to resolve NCRs.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Core Qualifications:
- Previous actuation experience is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering / manufacturing or equivalent of 10+ years of manufacturing actuation experience. Non-degreed candidates who have related work experience and can demonstrate the appropriate knowledge and skills will be considered.
- Experience working for actuation manufacturers or valve automation centers (VACs) with specific brands such as: Bettis, Biffi, Morin, Auma, EIM, Rotork, Limitorque, Bernard Controls, etc.
- Familiarity with valve automation systems, components, and accessories.
- Application and sizing expertise of actuators.
- Experience with valve or actuation OEMs via manufacturing.
