Overview
Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Project Controls IV to support an airport project within the Facilities Sector. The Project Controls IV will be assigned to Terminal 5 (T5) will also be known as the Project Controls Manager. The Project Controls Manager bears the primary responsibility for tracking, forecasting and reporting all assigned project schedule and costs and is responsible for ensuring that projectscomply with contract terms and the applicable LAWA and TDIP procedures with regards to authorizing documents and pay applications. The Project Controls Manager shall lead schedule andcost forecasting, as well as risks analysis sessions with members of LAWA, the design team and thecontractor. The Project Controls Manager is responsible for contract management compliance withall LAWA processes and monthly monitoring of all commercial activities and engagement with the project teams. The prime responsibility is to review, monitor, track and approve all commercially relevant aspects of the Program (i.e. schedule compliance, budget compliance, planned and actualcash flow, and change orders). The Project Controls Manager oversees the T5 Project ControlsTeam, including cost engineers, schedulers, esti mators, contract administrators, document controlsand others as needed to support the program.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage financial or other contractual audits and provide documentati on toauditor
Monitor project team compliance with all required Prolog processes and procedures and ensureProlog records are up to date
Develop and maintain all informati on required to provide internal, TDIP Steering Committ ee andperiodic BOAC reports as required
Maintain Budgets- Ensure the implementation of the program in line with approved budget
- Ensure compliance of project teams with their budgets, including conti nuousevaluati on and controlling of costs against budgets
- Manage risk and issues
- Control Costs (supported by project cost engineering for Prolog input)
- Ensure payments are made in line with contracts, including to designers,contractors, and all other parties
- Set up, maintain and review all fi nancial processes and reporti ng a monthly fi nancialsummary of the program cash flows
- Manage Schedules
- Develop schedules and ensure the implementati on of the program is in line withstated milestones and baseline schedule
- Ensure compliance of project teams with their schedules, including conti nuousevaluati on and controlling of costs against budgets
- Manage risk and issues
- Manage Changes
- Ensure compliance with CAB processes and procedures and maintaindocumentati on of all CAB items
- Ensure standardizati on and compliance with change management procedures
- Enforce Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes, which are in place to preventunauthorized and/or improperly vett ed changes that could negati vely impact thecost of the TDIP Program. The CAB process provides a path for internal and externalstakeholders and others to propose changes. It ensures proper documentati on andjusti fi cati on is in place for all changes to be considered by the Program Board andSteering Committ ee and provides tracking and records for all proposed changes.
- Manage Risks
- Manage risks of the T5 Program and ensuring all risk miti gati on processes arealigned and implemented
- Maintain T5 risk registers in coordinati on with the project team and TDG RiskManager as needed
- Identify potenti al change order requests and process in accordance with ChangeAdvisory Board (CAB) procedures
Qualifications
- 20 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviati on, Business, Engineering, Constructi on Management,Planning or other related technical fi eld required Master's degree preferred
- Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, PMI-SP, etc.
- Experience managing a team of project controls staff
- Experience with projects more than $500 million in value.
- Experience with various delivery methods, specifi cally Progressive Design-Build and includingDesign-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and others
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent writt en and oral communicati on skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practi cesand regulati ons
- Must have a self-starter atti tude with proacti ve, results-oriented focus; and willing and capableto assume additi onal responsibiliti es
- Must be able to interface with a variety of people with diff erent technical levels and educati onalbackgrounds
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems
- Ability to work in CAD or REVIT a plus
