JOB DUTIES: Oversee and participate in activities which drive the design and development of high volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance using ASP.Net, C#, MS SQL Server 2012+. Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to translate business problem statements into technical solutions, then help to plan Sprints; assign tasks to the developers, lead sprint demos and deliver quality prod releases. Assist in technical assessment of risks and issues, and document recommendations. Coordinate solution design with leaders from Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, and Business to optimize speed to market and achieve prioritized business outcomes. Coach and lead the team; Designing Technical solutions, developing appropriate technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines, get them reviewed and approved. Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product support; feature enhancements, technical debt, aligning to firm Architecture Principles. Performing peer-peer code reviews and team code reviews, and guide the team on latest technologies. Involvement in monthly major releases to support production release activities.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept a three (3) year Bachelor's degree or combination of degrees to meet requirement.
Alternatively, Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. - Working with SQL Server; end to end designing working closely with Architecture Team;
- Working with DevOps; using design patterns and implement them with C#;
- Utilizing system integration; implementing solutions in a distributed infrastructure with legacy and modern technical tools;
- REST, SOAP and Windows based services;
- Pub/sub messaging technologies and patterns;
- Documenting RESTful web services with OpenAPI;
- Documenting and specifying Technical Artifacts;
- Team Foundation Server/ Visual Studio 19; and
- TeamCity/Octopus.
