In this role, you will leverage your leadership skills and specialized expertise in quality management, workflow tooling, and agile solutions to empower and enable a globally distributed team of over 60 members. You will shape and drive the strategic direction of the team's practices, continuously enhancing efficiency and velocity while sustaining our exceptional quality standards. As both a strategic leader and hands-on manager, you'll oversee a dedicated team centered around two core quality pillars: skill cultivation and workforce automation. Through rigorous instrumentation and precise measurement enabled by seamless tooling, you will proactively explore and test innovative workforce automation opportunities and drive effective user adoption. Your focus will be to thoughtfully balance automation and human expertise, achieving optimized processes and elevated performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives and tool enablement designed to empower globally distributed teams, driving measurable improvements in efficiency, velocity, and sustained quality.
  • Lead direct reports through structured sprint planning, providing strategic guidance, career coaching, and serving as a reliable sounding board.
  • Oversee the daily operations of automated solutions across distinct workflows, including resource capacity forecasting, reporting systems, templating processes, and AI-powered self-service tools.
  • Direct skill development strategies through primary training content creation and LMS distribution, supplementary training and certification programs, and fostering intra-organizational knowledge sharing.
  • Drive go-to-market effectiveness by establishing and managing comprehensive release management processes, actively guiding adoption, and analyzing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and enhance the quality assurance toolkit, encompassing virtualization technologies and a network of globally distributed physical testing devices.
  • Engage closely with executive leadership to refine operational frameworks, deliver insightful team performance analytics, and align strategic initiatives on a quarterly basis.


Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Total Quality Management or related disciplines, preferably within consultancy environments engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Expert proficiency in workflow management and process standardization methodologies, including Agile, PMO frameworks, ISO standards, and Six Sigma practices.
  • Highly analytical mindset with demonstrated experience in developing and tracking objectives through frameworks like OKRs and KPIs.
  • Extensive knowledge of workflow and insight management systems, particularly within Atlassian and Microsoft ecosystems.
  • Working proficiency with query languages such as SQL and JQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proactive approach to identifying process improvements, presenting recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership to optimize ROI.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience participating in or leading agile teams, ensuring agile best practices and delivery effectiveness.
  • Exceptional writing skills applied to technical documentation, solution proposals, and analytical insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities, adept at collaborating effectively across globally diverse teams and cultures.
  • Naturally curious, committed to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Flexible availability to support critical business launches and escalations as needed.
  • Demonstrated clear and effective communication abilities.


Preferred qualifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma/ISO 9000 Certification/Quality Management Certification.
  • Scrum Alliance and/or Project Management certification.
  • Master's degree in industrial engineering or applied science preferred but not required.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or business-related focus or equivalent work experience required.
The hiring range for this position in New York is $130,800 to $175,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
