Agropur is looking for a Shopper activation manager to join the organization.

• Salary scale 006: 95 900$ to 119 900$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What's involved in this role:

• Oversees the strategic engagement of shopper activation promotional initiatives for priority retailers, Agropur Canada's portfolio innovation, core focus, and our retail promotion strategy/vehicles aligned with Categories/Portfolio, GTM, Account teams Plans.
• Primary interface with the banners' marketing, Online, Trade marketing departments, and account teams.
• Responsible for the strategy, objectives and identification of customer specific opportunities based on the translation of Shopper and Category insights to influence, engage, and activate retailers on initiatives and programs
• Develops strong relationships with the Customer's Marketing, category & Online department and leverages these relationships to expand into new, mutually beneficial Strategics territories
• Manage all financials related to customize Customer Marketing activities. This includes managing a budget, building block, Gross Margin, as well as establishing and reconciling KPIs/ ROI for all programs and tactics
• Assess retailer Omnichannel capabilities and identify future opportunities for customer engagement. Optimize digital plans with key customers.

What you need to join our team:

• Completion of a University Degree in Business administration with a focus on sales and marketing.
• Minimum of 5-10 years in Marketing and/or Shopper Marketing with Sales exposure.
• Fluency in French and English is essential.
• Ability to develop Customer strategic initiatives and execute via the Retailer Canadian Landscape
• Understanding of brand positioning and how to appropriately translate it to retailer programs.
• Understanding of consumer/shopper research methods.
• Strong people skills, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, project management and time management skills.
• Intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and experience working with sales tracking software programs.
