Starting Hiring Range: $100k - $130k / yr.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and career development.
- Responsible for coordination of data engineering, ETL, and data architecture requirements and working side by side with the data engineering team to support the EDW's data medallion structure.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define business requirements and technical solutions.
- Oversee project timelines, ensure deliverables are met, and communicate progress to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business needs, processes, and data requirements.
- Analyze complex data and business workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the EDW team.
- Lead technical subject matter expert on EDW Business Intelligence team to support, data modeling, ETL processes, MS SQL and cloud, and BI solutions.
- Work with architects and developers to design and implement robust data architectures and ETL pipelines.
- Ensure that the EDW solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
- Implement data governance practices to ensure data integrity, quality, and security within the EDW.
- Ensure the EDW platform is optimized for data access, reporting, and analytics needs.
- Develop project plans, monitor progress, and manage risks.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and alignment.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration between IT, data engineering, and business teams.
- Stay current with emerging trends in data warehousing, BI technologies, and analytics.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for optimizing EDW performance and enhancing capabilities.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Data Warehousing (e.g., TDWI).
- Certifications or extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Project Management PMP or CAPM.
EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 5 years in a technical or managerial role, preferably in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks and or Snowflake platforms.
- Strong experience with EDW architecture, ETL processes, data modeling, and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality practices, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps, Trello).
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau etc.) and data visualization techniques.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams, including coaching and development.
- ETL, (e.g., Microsoft, SSIS, SQL Server, Java, AWS etc.)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, cloud databases, etc.).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
