Come join Lockheed's Strategic Reentry Programs. This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area must be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in SRP.
As a Specialty Integration Lead for the Sentinel program, your primary responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that Specialty Engineering plans, processes,
and requirements are addressed (e.g., Reliability, System Safety, EMI/EMC, PMP, and Cybersecurity)
Supporting the Chief Systems Engineer by providing guidance and direction to a Specialty Engineering team to include full Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development through weapons system operations and integration, and their application
Providing technical instruction and interpretation of applicability of specialty engineering requirements to program-unique designs to team members and customer personnel
Assessing systems to confirm compliance with
applicable design criteria, derivation of program-unique requirements as appropriate to specific system architectures and equipment designs, and independent verification of accurate allocation and close-out of each
requirement prior to customer delivery and system
deployment
Understanding and applying DoD requirements and industry standards (AFMAN's, MIL-STD's, IEEE requirements, and more) to the design
Basic Qualifications
Strong system engineering skill set, or related
engineering field with detailed knowledge of
Systems Engineering concepts and processes
Must have experience with one or more of the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, EMI/EMC, Parts Materials & Processes, or Cybersecurity Engineering
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple
engineering fields to identify technical product
characteristics to develop requirement specifications
Requirements assessment and/or management
experience to include functional analysis,
validation, allocation, and/or verification
Participation in Systems Engineering reviews
(SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR)
Excellent written and verbal communication
skills, strong social skills, and ability to build
consensus among peers while building solid
relationships with team members
Active Secret Clearance or above
Desired skills
Background in electrical engineering or
experience with electronic components
Experience with Strategic Reentry Programs
Experience generating collaborative solutions with ability to resolve conflicts with tact and teamwork in a fast-paced, synergetic team environment
Organized, detail-oriented leader with the ability to track, monitor, and achieve progress on multiple projects simultaneously
Recognized as an authority in systems thinking
techniques with the demonstrated ability to
apply them to a wide range of complex problems
and train others in their application
Missile design and test experience with one or
more subsystems or disciplines outside of
Systems Engineering
Demonstrated ability as an effective communicator
Must have direct experience implementing solutions that are compliant to MIL-STD-11991B

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
