Description:
EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is seeking GIS Data Architects/Analysts to design, implement, and maintain a robust Enterprise GIS system for a Department of Transportation client. This role will support enhanced data management and spatial analytics capabilities to drive informed decision-making, federal compliance, and enterprise-level reporting. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to work on innovative geospatial solutions with a direct impact on public infrastructure and transportation networks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a GIS Data Architect/Analyst, you will:
- Develop and implement GIS-based solutions for data extraction, transformation, collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Architect geospatial data models for enterprise geospatial data warehouses and linear referencing systems (LRS).
- Utilize advanced AI and machine learning tools to enhance geospatial analysis and automate data workflows.
- Create interactive dashboards and web mapping applications that support enterprise-wide decision-making.
- Collaborate with GIS program managers, analysts, and IT staff to integrate GIS solutions across platforms.
- Ensure data solutions support federal reporting requirements and DOT compliance standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or BA degree from accredited university with 9 credit hours in GIS courses
- 6+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS
- Geospatial data modeling, including data warehousing and linear referencing methods
- Experience with artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, and large language models such as generative pre-training transformers
- Strong understanding of enterprise GIS architecture and transportation-focused GIS applications
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience supporting transportation GIS projects
- Proficiency in FME (Feature Manipulation Engine), including cross-platform ETL processes
- Experience developing custom scripts and automation for geospatial ETL workflows
- Familiarity with various data formats and spatial data interoperability techniques
