Astrion has an exciting opportunity for Acquisition Program Management for the ISR/SOF contract, supporting the Air Force Division.

JOB DETAILS:

LOCATION: Wright Patterson AFB; Dayton, OH

JOB STATUS: OPEN

TRAVEL: 5%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Security Clearance: Tier 5/Top Secret Security Clearance

Education:

Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD

OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/profession discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD

OR 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 years of which must be in the DoD

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a wide range of acquisition program management, analytical, technical and support services for programs managed by the AFLCMC/WI Directorate and AFLCMC/WIN Division
  • Apply knowledge and experience in pre-acquisition definition and capabilities integration of requirements, acquisition program management principles and equipment through their life cycle
  • Apply integration, communication, coordination, organizational and planning expertise to technical research and development activities
  • Assist in planning, organizing and managing critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of capabilities sensors' systems, subsystems and equipment
  • Assist in the development of pre- and post-aware documentation
  • Assist in a wide range of program management activities including gathering data, conducting analyses, evaluation and validation of acquisition programmatic documentation
  • Assist in developing and analyzing key program metrics
  • Assist the program office with the requirements and procedures to be followed when producing commercial items including but not limited to Non-Developmental Items (NDI), Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) items and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-certified items
  • Assist the program office in complying with tasks related to the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), architectural views, security accreditation and certifications, Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR), Defense Acquisition Information Retrieval (DAMIR), System Metric and Reporting Tool (SMART), security administration, Monthly Acquisition Reports (MAR), Probability of Program Success (POPS), Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Program Management Agreements (PMA), Acquisition Program Baseline (APB) and Capabilities Review and Risk Assessment (CRRA) initiation and updates.
