Overview
We're seeking a detail-oriented team member who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders in support of our Document Management Program. This is a position for detail oriented multi-tasker, who is creative in developing solutions to a variety of concerns relating to all OSD documents. In this role you will promote consistency and act as subject matter expert in the implementation and management of record material and information systems that support operational processes. For document and record material, activities include records management, configuration management, release, distribution, modification, and archival functions to assure data is organized from generation through retirement. You will be training under the document management subject matter expert.

You will spend a large amount of time interacting with individuals to help them with inquiries and questions, while displaying excellent customer service. You will learn the governing documents and implementation methods of applicable requirements and assist with developing solutions, tasks, and other actions. You will provide guidance to directorate staff on methods to effectively deploy and trace content across the organization.
Discretion:
This position requires the ability to acquire, review, analyze, and process a variety of types of information. You will demonstrate discretion and good operational security. You will be expected to exercise judgment and apply solutions in determining appropriate actions. You will coordinate the standardized process for identifying appropriate reviews, deployments, and updates for documents.

To obtain this credential, new employees must successfully complete and pass a Federal Tier 1 background check investigation. This includes marijuana and cannabis derivatives, which are still considered illegal under federal law, regardless of state laws.

- Perform the document and records management activities, such as entering metadata, ensuring documents are processed according to quality and record requirements.
- Assist staff in processing maintenance records, assessments and generating metrics to track completion rates and performance.
- Develops solutions to improve processing and coordinates changes with the plant operations personal (i.e., building engineers, work team leads, crafts).
- Provide system generated reports and customer service to the facility operations staff.
- Build and maintain relationships within the Operational Systems Directorate, organizational document owners, and stakeholders for requirements deployment.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts on tasks and deliverables.
- Ensure quality of and accuracy of information in produced deliverables.
- Display a high degree of customer service in all interactions with strong organizational skills.
- Maintain precise documentation to record decisions, recommendations, conclusions, errors, or other applicable findings.
- Identify creative methods to deploy documents effectively.
- Possess the ability to effectively interface and collaborate with a diverse set of customers both internal and external.
- Continue to improve the PNNL safety and security culture.
- Take on additional work and duties within job family expectations, as assigned by your line manage.
