In this position...
Operate and support dSPACE and Typhoon based HIL test system (on-site).
Create HIL test strategies, test cases, and scripts based on client, internal, and regulatory requirements.
Set-up test equipment and run hands-on tests.
Support all release testing and bug triaging.
Help identify gaps in requirements and review the requirements for testability.
Work on setups to allow highly automated software release testing.
Create data acquisition systems for test data recording.
Document results and provide reports.
Establish traceability using requirement management tools and version control.
Investigate test failures through analysis and failure reproduction.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
3+ years of testing and validation experience.
Bachelor/master's degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
Has experience creating/working with Battery plant model on Simulink and/or dSPACE ASM.
Knowledge of lab instruments such as DMM, Oscilloscope, power supplies, and DAQs
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
Experience in Python scripting for any automation or test scripts.
Knowledge on general EV.
Knowledge of BMS testcases -HV Contactor, Isolation, HVIL and Charging
Any Software development/programming experience.
Ability to break down requirements into tests
Understanding of an electrical circuit concepts and basic schematics
Qualifications
You'll have...
Experience with industry standard I/O and communications interfaces, e.g., CAN and Ethernet, CAN-FD.
Knowledge on Battery management systems, their functions and controls.
Experience with CANoe, CAPL, Control Desk, Configuration Desk, Typhoon, OPAL-RT, RT-Labs, test automation, and similar measurement systems.
Experience with automotive regulatory, environmental, reliability, and safety requirements such as SAE, ISO.
Experience with testing on BMS either at HIL or higher level.
Working/Setting up experience with SPI/ISO-SPI/I2C protocols.
Experience working with high voltage test setups.
