About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Private Assets team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
Oversee the operations of the Capital Event Teams, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet key performance indicators
Review funds' partnership agreements, PPMs. Service agreements and other materials
Develop, implement, and refine process workflows and procedures to enhance productivity and quality
Monitor and analyze process performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Evaluate team performance, conduct performance reviews and provide timely feedback to improve team performance and morale
Forster a collaborative and performance-driven team culture
Act as the escalation point of contact for all matters related to the Capital Event process, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align objectives
Ensure the Capital Event process complies with all relevant internal policies/procedures/best practices, external standards, and regulatory requirements
Identify potential risks in the process and implement mitigation strategies to address them proactively
Provide insights and recommendation to senior leadership for strategic decision-making and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives
Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization
Implementation of efficiency initiatives in a timely manner
Generate ad hoc reports as required
Qualifications
About You:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; CPA an asset.
5+ years' experience in managing a team of Fund Accountants, Senior Fund Accountants and Supervisors
8+ years of fund accounting experience in either a Private Equity/Assets Fund, Private Equity/Assets Fund Administrator or other financial institution where the accountant has gained financial products knowledge
Knowledge of US/Canadian GAAP and other comprehensive basis of accounting
Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
Proven experience in managerial role
Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
Strong project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Especially Excel and Word), experienced user of the FIS Investran PE accounting platform highly desirable
