Description:

Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
Location: Malvern, PA (open to relocation)
C2C Pay Rate: $70/HR

Responsibilities:

Lead architecture and development of conversational AI solutions across chat and voice channels.
Design and implement bot flows, integrating with enterprise systems, APIs, and knowledge sources.
Guide the technical roadmap for platforms like Kore.ai and Genesys, aligning with product and UX teams.
Ensure quality, scalability, and security of AI-based interactions.
Mentor developers, review code, and drive best practices in bot development and natural language design.
Track performance, using analytics and user feedback to improve containment, deflection, and overall experience.

Required Qualifications:

6+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in Conversational AI.
Strong experience with Kore.ai, Genesys Cloud, or similar chatbot/IVR platforms.
Practical knowledge of NLP/NLU, dialog management, and intent design.
Experience with cloud platforms and API-based integrations.
Strong communication skills and ability to work across product, design, and engineering teams.
A passion for creating intuitive, human-like conversations that actually solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
Familiarity with LLM integration, voice biometrics, or personalization strategies.
Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design in bot experiences.
